Fiorentina director Joe Barone has revealed that English clubs have been contacted about striker Dusan Vlajovic. But there is no agreement yet.
The 21-year-old is contracted to the ufabet club until 2023. With so far it has been clear he will not extend his contract further. And the club is ready to release from the team during the January market at all.
Earlier, Italian outlets reported that Vlajovic would like to wait until the end of the season before deciding on his future. With Barone saying there have been contacts from English clubs but no agreement has been reached at this time.
“Some English clubs have contact with Fiorentina, but there is no agreement yet and it is impossible if someone (Vlajovic) doesn’t say anything,” Barone told La Na. Sion
“In any case, we are ready to sell. The English club wants Vlajovic, but obviously he has other ideas – we are ready to negotiate. But he and his agent did not speak.”
“There is no communication from the player or the player. Although I asked them to be clear about their wishes.”
But the Fiorentina chief claimed he is still yet to hear from Vlahovic’s entourage as the Viola reportedly hold out for €75million for their prized asset.
“I haven’t heard anything from them, I had asked Vlahovic’s agent to be clear, but I haven’t heard anything, no contacts at all,” he added.
